Description
The KMC Singlespeed Chain Joining Link allows you to join 1/2" width singlespeed chains.
When rejoining a singlespeed chain, you can use your chainbreaker to push the little pin back into place in the side-plate of the chain. However, this can be pretty tricky to get right!
Singlespeed chains take a lot of abuse, especially on fixed gear bikes. A better option is using a 3-piece joining link like this one. It also allows removal of the chain for cleaning.
Needle nose pliers will make joining and removing the 3-piece link easy.
