The Roller is an elegant vintage men's/unisex bike with agile handling characteristics for everyday commuting or hassle-free trips around the city. Quality parts and considered build features make the Roller a reliable vintage bicycle that presents a sharp and stylish finish.

The Roller offers a relaxed, upright cycling position making it ideal for commuting in casual or office clothing (no lycra required). The bike also handles well in traffic with your weight evenly balanced over both wheel axles for confidence inspiring control.

Built using quality Hi-Ten steel for that retro Vintage 'thin tubing profile' look of a classic bicycle. Steel has long been recognised as an excellent design material for vintage bikes, offering both durability and vibration-damping comfort.

The frame also features all the mounts you'll need to set this vintage bike up with pannier racks for riding to work each day.

You can count on smooth-shifting from the Shimano Tourney 1x7 gearing on a classic style alloy crankset with chainguard. The bike also features retro style full-length front and rear mudguards so you can ride in casual clothes even if the road is wet.

Rolling on a light and durable wheelset with double wall alloy rims and Kenda K-193 700x32c tyres, and Promax dual-pivot caliper brakes for control - this vintage bike is a joy to ride.

Key Features:

  • Balanced, upright geometry on a Hi-Ten steel 'thin tubing profile' frame for comfortable retro styling with agile handling.
  • Reliable Shimano Tourney 7-speed gears for smooth shifting on a classic style alloy crankset.

    Surprisingly pleased

I've been a bike commuter for 20 years. Reid bikes seem to get a bad wrap. Maybe because they're pricing is so cost effective. I decided to buy this bike for two reasons.

    1. Because I wanted to try a geared bike without spending a lot of money (I ride single speed)

    2. This particular bike appealed to my aesthetics. I prefer steel frames and I like vintage bikes.

After taking it for a long ride I was surprised just how responsive it is. It's comfortable and glides through the streets effortlessly. I've tried several big (expensive) brands over the years and this bike is honestly comparable to many of them. Many people have complimented the way it looks. This bike is now my daily commuter.

Great value for money, but obviously quality can only be that much

I love the colour, seat quite hard, great value for money, but of course probably will need changing of components after 6 - 12 months.

    All I need

Exactly as advertised. Simple no nonsense commuter. I switched out the pedals and I don’t like the grips, but otherwise it’s solid. Happy with this purchase.
