The all new Reid CX is a purpose built Cyclocross bike designed to bring you a great blend of versatility and performance in all conditions. Whether it's on the road commuting, river paths, weekend gravel rides or tackling a Cyclocross course - the CX is built for the challenge!

The CX is built around a tough, lightweight 6061 Double Butted Alloy frame with Cyclocross geometry. The speed and manoeuvrability demands of competitive Cyclocross also translate perfectly to riders who push a fast paced commute on mixed terrain - across road, river paths, gravel and mud.

Fitted with powerful SRAM Avid BB5 Mechanical Disc Brakes for power and control, but also easy maintenance and adjustability. These brakes are renowned for handling grit and still working without compromise.

The CX brings the perfect balance of strength and handling in a great looking package - with lightweight smooth-welded alloy tubing, internal cable routing for clean lines and rear rack mounts for versatility.

Running Shimano 2 x 8 speed Claris gearing for all the range you'll need in the city and on the trails.

Additional features like puncture-protect WTB Riddler 700 x 37c tyres and Alex MD17 Double Wall Alloy rims ensure this bike is built to handle rough conditions.

Key Features:

  • 6061 Double Butted alloy CX frame with alloy fork for a fast and nimble ride.
  • Powerful and easy to maintain SRAM Avid BB5 mechanical disc brakes for performance in the wet.
  • Trusted Shimano Claris R2000 2x8 gearing.
  • Puncture protect WTB Riddler 700 x 37c tyres running on durable Alex MD17 double wall alloy rims.
  • Reid Race Saddle and Velo Shockproof Microfibre Bartape.

Buy One, Plant One

Since January 2020 we have worked with not-for-profit reforestation partners to donate enough money to pay a local person a fair wage to grow, plant and guard to maturity 1 native tree for every bike we sell.

We've now planted more than 200,000 trees and counting.

    Enjoyable

Bike came with excellent packaging and safely and delivered very fast I don’t have to wait much days. It is my first road bike specifically made choice to buy for road and other area , wider tyres than 28 mm. I went for several test drive 25 km to 30 km few days, I didn’t have any majors issues , need to tune front derailleur and true rear wheel, if I can’t fix it I will take near by bike shop, comfortable drive , smooth paddling, break are good, need adjustment, Tyers are excellent comfortable, Color are attractive. No broken parts. I recommend to others if you are looking for fitness ride, outdoor cycling , it didn’t let me down,I am solo rider . I have have also ordered MTB too.
